We we never made it to the Christmas Parade, it was pouring the rain down where we live so we did not make the trip. I did hear the weather did clear up in time for the parade and it was a success with lots of Newfies! So sorry we missed such an awsome event, to see so many Newfoundlands of all ages gathered together at one time is a wonderful sight! It has been Newfie weather here in Florida throughout the holidays and we did make it up to St Augustine for a couple of walks with Moose n Yogi. They thoroughly enjoyed all of the attention and put a lot of smiles on a lot of kids and grown-ups faces! We met a St Bernard on one trip and another Newfoundland "Bear" on the second trip. The Newfoundlands recognize one another right away:o)!! Moose gets a little bored after a while on the concrete streets and is ready to hit the grass and trees for some good sniffs. 
Yogi never tires of the attention and petting!
